Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Client Acquisition & Rental Application Specialist. This role is focused on processing rental applications from start to finish, including client intake, document collection, and submission to city programs and housing partners. Key Responsibilities:

  • Reach out to city programs and community partners to acquire new clients seeking rental assistance

  • Schedule and conduct intake appointments with potential clients

  • Review, organize, and collect required documents for rental applications

  • Ensure all application paperwork is complete, accurate, and submitted in a timely manner

  • Maintain up-to-date client files—both digital and physical—for tracking and compliance

  • Follow up with programs, landlords, and clients to monitor application status and payment processing

  • Communicate with clients regularly to provide updates, answer questions, and resolve issues

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with city agencies, landlords, and internal team members

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills

  • Strong attention to detail with a knack for reviewing paperwork and catching errors

  • Ability to manage multiple applications and deadlines simultaneously

  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a team environment

  • Tech-savvy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and basic database systems

  • Quick learner with the ability to adapt to changing processes

Preferred Experience:

  • 1–2 years of experience in housing services, property management, social services, or administrative support

  • Familiarity with rental assistance programs, low-income housing initiatives, or city-funded programs

  • Bilingual or multilingual skills are a strong plus
